InnStrumenti New Year's Concert
January 8th (Fri) | 7:00 PM
The Tiroler Kammerorchester InnStrumenti, under the baton of Gerhard Sammer, invites you once again to start the year with a first-class musical fireworks display at the New Year's Concert 2027!
What to expect:
- Classical music and waltzes: The evening opens with Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari's sparkling overture to Il segreto di Susanna. Next come Beethoven's The Creatures of Prometheus, Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 7 and Amy Beach's Bal Masqué. The Strauss classics are of course part of the program too, from the polka Entweder-Oder to the waltz The Blue Danube.
- Vocals with Chanda Rule: Together with the orchestra, the singer brings world hits such as Lovely Day, Wade in the Water and Here Comes the Sun to the stage, arranged by pianist Christian Wegscheider.
- Charming hosting: Martin Papst guides you through the evening with wit and warmth.
- Surprises: Look forward to a puzzle about the year 2027 and to a program item or two that we're not revealing yet.
The performers at a glance:
Chanda Rule (vocals) · Christian Wegscheider (piano) · Martin Papst (host) · Gerhard Sammer (conductor) · Tiroler Kammerorchester InnStrumenti
